Concert at the Sephardic Museum at the Transito Synagogue in Toledo during Heritage Night. Once again the works of Maestro Angel G Piñero have been heard played with other composers to give the Spanish Classical Guitar its privileged place in its own country! Thanks to the reception of Toledo, the interpretation of the musicians, the guitarist Stanislav Steshenko (Ukraine), the Chagall Quartet (Spain), the ZERTIOR organization.
A very varied program with many works by Angel G. Piñero but interspersed with works by Federico Bufaletti, Miguel Llobet, Matthias Duplessy in the works played with solo guitar (Stanislav Steshenko, Ukrainian guitarist, winner of the “Angel G. Piñero” Guitar Competition) 2024). Next comes the Chagall Quartet (Cristina Pascual, Sergio Gomez, Abel Nafee and Susana Rico) who play some works by Isaac Albeniz, Francisco Tarrega and Manuel de Falla. To continue this very special concert, guitarist Stas Steshenko and the Chagall Quartet come together to play 4 of the 8 works for guitar and quartet composed by Angel G. Piñero: 3 Danzas Andaluzas, Alegrías en El Puerto, Fantasía Andaluza and the famous Brisas de Cadiz. They also play Meditation composed by Angel G. Piñero in the time of COVID. In the encore, the spectators who had filled the room were delighted with a very happy tango. A complete success that was repeated a week later at the Malaga Festival.
